Summary
About the position:
This position will be assigned to Vandenberg SFB, CA.
This is a Regular Full Time (RFT) position with benefits (medical, dental, life insurance, retirement, 401(k), and annual/sick leave.

- This position is designated as a drug testing position (TDP).
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- Must be willing to provide information that you are a U.S. citizen.
- Work may require other than normal duty hours which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid state drivers' license due to the operation of a government vehicle for official travel away from duty station in accomplishing duties.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Planning, organizing, coordinating, supervising, or evaluating outdoor recreational program; developing and executing a program level budget; evaluating and/or instructing in the principles and techniques of recreational program planning and management; ability to supervise and lead a team of employees.
OR
Substitution for Experience: Undergraduate (Associates or Bachelors degree) or Graduate (Masters' degree) education with a major study in general recreation or the fields of: outdoor recreation or youth recreation or community recreation.
