Summary
About the position: This position will be assigned to the Arts and Crafts/Auto Hobby Shop on Holloman AFB, New Mexico.
This is a Regular Full Time (RFT) position with benefits (medical, dental, life insurance, retirement, 401(k), and annual/sick leave).
Incumbent must be able to work other than normal duty hours which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- This position requires the incumbent to work shifts to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.
- This position requires the incumbent to meet the requirements to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) and network access.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
- Progressively responsible experience which has been gained by working in an Arts & Crafts environment. Knowledge sufficient to demonstrate techniques and instruct in one or more of the Arts & Crafts areas. Working experience and knowledge of basic framing, engraving, matting, etc. Ability to calculate basic measurements, such as lengths and widths.
- Experience leading a team of 3 or more employees is required.
- Must be proficient in a wide variety of software applications such as Microsoft Office.
- Must possess skills to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative and artistic abilities are desired.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

- Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal Affiliation.
