Surgery - Interventional Pain - PA - Chelsea, MI

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a full-time PA to join our Interventional Pain team at Chelsea Hospital, located in Chelsea, Michigan. Enjoy a team based and patient-oriented culture that provides excellent training and mentorship.

This position is outpatient dayshift, with evening and weekend call for additional surgical subspecialties such as General Surgery, Urology, Breast Surgery and more.

Responsibilities will include:

• Diagnose and treat chronic pain patients under the supervision of an Interventional Pain Physician
• Provide high-quality patient care as part of a healthcare team
• Develop and implement a patient management plan
• Communicate and collaborate with the physician and team regarding patient care
• Perform a focused physical exam for chronic pain patients
• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments

Interested candidates should be certified and hold an active Connecticut license. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate a high standard of moral and ethical behavior, professionalism, compassion, and commitment to patient care. Experience in interventional procedures for pain management or experience in orthopedics, anesthesia, or surgical subspecialties is preferred but not required. Recent graduates interested in neurology or pain management will also be considered.

Qualifications for this opportunity include:

• PA-C Board Certified
• Active State of Michigan license
• BCLS certified
• Completion of a master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high volume of patients and procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills and ability to build rapport with patients

• Willingness to continue to gain knowledge and clinical experience
