Manage all aspects of Sustainability within the business and particular focus on tender and project support.

Job Description

Tender Stage

• Assist sourcing in assessing suppliers.
• Assist sourcing in reviewing offers.
• Define KIP's for suppliers.
• Review clients spec and Identify requirements.
• Provide tender response for sustainability items.
• Carry out clause by clause review with respect to sustainability.
• Manage the sustainability assessment and actions.
• Support construction in meeting requirements.

Project Stage

• Manage the sustainability assessment and actions.
• Support construction on project specific requirements.
• Carry out audits on site for compliance with planned sustainability solutions.
• Carry out audits on design to ensure requirements and planned actions are implemented.
• Manage co-ordinate up date of Revit / Carbon tool.
• Manage life cycle carbon capture.

General

• Review GE global sustainability procedure.
• Identify gaps in current working process.
• Produce road map to 'fill' the gaps.
• Review current sustainability tool.
• Look at improvements.
• Set out requirements for all providers.
• Review key client specifications (NG, RWE, SSE, Statnett).
• Determine key requirements for each client.
• Review country specific requirements / legislation.
• Look at improvements.
• Set out requirements for all providers.
• Support construction on developing standard solutions.
• Manage / co-ordinate the Revit interface.

Provide overview training to all staff

• Legal requirements.
• GE policy.
• What we do well.
• What we need to improve on.
