What You'll Get to Do:

CACI is seeking a motivated and experienced NTCSS Systems Administrator with a strong background in NTCSS VE and Laptop Server configurations to join our Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS) team at Norfolk VA.

This is a hybrid work environment assignment in which the selected candidate will be required to work on-site at least one day per work week and must reside within the local commuting distance (80 miles) to Naval Station Norfolk, VA.

As a Systems Administrator member of the Distance Support (Helpdesk) team you will be responsible for performing the duties of an Advance Customer Support Technician for the NTCSS in service Virtualized In-service product suite which includes the NTCSS VE and NTCSS Laptop Server product lines. The emphasis of this assignment is on System Administration level customer inquiries for Virtual hosted solutions. The selected candidate will be a member of the Distance Support project team and will perform advance technical support to end user community.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Provide System Administration Services and training to fleet customers operating NTCSS and NTCSS in a Virtual Environment
• Provide system administration services and training to fleet customers operating OOMA in a native and virtual environment
• Perform data analysis, as well as troubleshoot and correct application-created data anomalies and corrupt database tables for NTCSS sites.
• Facilitate communications between customers, SME's and Technical staff. Participating in various testing functions (i.e., string and acceptance tests) to verify that results are correct.
• Employ ticketing management systems such as the BMC HELIX Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) tool to track all software related trouble reports, change proposals and fleet assistance request actions.
• Provide advanced technical support and administration of systems including but not limited to VMWARE ESX Server, LINUX, UNIX, and Windows environments.
• Administer and configure all versions of VMware virtual software and infrastructure.
• Perform systems testing, compatibility testing and functional testing for new releases, upgrades, and security (IAVA) updates to the NTCSS & OOMA systems.
• Develop knowledge base (KB) articles to encapsulate knowledge, procedures, and processes.
• Work closely with senior computer specialists to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Create and modify technical documentation.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

• US Citizen.
• Must have a secret clearance or be able to obtain an interim secret clearance and be able to obtain a T5 investigation clearance.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification or higher (ex. CompTIA Security+, CASP, CISSP or related).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 8 years + of related experience
• Must possess the ability to troubleshoot issues via remote access using SSH.
• Possess a demonstrated mid to advance level of knowledge with various storage technologies such as SAN, NAS, RAID.
• Possess a demonstrated mid to advance level of knowledge of NTCSS virtualized in service product line to NTCSS VE and NTCSS Laptop Server
• Possess a demonstrated mid to advance level of knowledge of Sybase database structure.
• Demonstrated understanding of networking protocols TCP/IP, DNS, SFTP, HTTP, SSH
• Demonstrated working knowledge with various storage technologies such as SAN, NAS, RAID.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in providing NTCSS installation support in a shipboard and shore environment.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V technologies
• Knowledge of the DAP and IAVA process
• Knowledge of NMCI (NGEN) and CANES.
• Ability to create and maintain Training documentation
