CACI's Business Systems Operating Group is searching for individuals who can support the air and space exploration mission of our nation's largest space agency. Work on building customer's capabilities in a fast-paced SAFe agile development environment. Collaborate on systems and solutions supporting large portfolios from business, analysis, technical, systems, data, and enterprise functions. The Systems Engineers will be responsible for the integration of requirements, design, risk mitigation and technology of complex systems.
More About the Role
- Analyze system requirements and assist in design and development activities for complex systems
- Guide users and team members in formulating requirements, advise on viability of alternative approaches, and conduct and evaluate feasibility studies
- Seamlessly incorporate new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations
- Provide technical assistance to Program Managers and provide technical recommendations of technologies, techniques or components to assist with meeting project goals and minimizing project risks
- Provide systems engineering support at all levels of a system's lifecycle
- Provide systems engineering support necessary to meet requirements for system upgrades, installation of new systems, and system replacements.
- Monitor operational systems daily for collection, issues, output, and dataflow; report problems via ticketing process, recommend updates to operations
- Work with Operations group to identify and implement necessary system changes, training, updates, etc.
- Interface with analysts for signals development needs, updates to database of signal processing instructions, discovery efforts, tracking new targets and understanding development needed to prosecute new signals
You'll Bring These Qualifications
- Desired Secret clearance with ability to obtain higher level clearance if needed
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the requisite clearance level in accordance with NASA policy and procedures for system, data, or facilities to perform assigned duties when performance starts
- BA/BS and minimum 5 years experience: Years of experience accepted in lieu of degree. (positions may be available with various levels of experience requiring additional years of experience)
- Ability to collaborate with large teams and senior leadership in highly communicative environment
- Able to work independently with minimal direction including remote work
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
- Experience with virtual machines, enterprise deployment tools, remote systems management required) V-Center, Puppet, Ansible, Docker, etc.
- SAFe understanding and knowledge
- Work independently and as part of a team, highly-motivated self-starter

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $62,800-$128,600. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
