Job Description

Role: Technical Program Manager Location: Irvine, CA Rate: $55/hour W2 Schedule: Hybrid We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Program Manager to lead and support a large-scale enterprise security audit readiness initiative. This role is critical to ensuring organizational preparedness ahead of a formal security audit and throughout its execution. The contractor will collaborate with cross-functional teams, application owners, and information security stakeholders to manage compliance tasks, remediation timelines, and executive-level reporting. Responsibilities: • Lead and manage enterprise-wide security audit readiness efforts across 80+ applications and multiple technology stacks. • Coordinate vulnerability remediation, vendor compliance assessments, system architecture reviews, and penetration test preparation. • Drive cross-functional collaboration across Information Security, Engineering, Architecture, Compliance, Legal, and Application Support teams. • Track and report on over 50 active findings, risks, and vulnerabilities, each with multiple associated tasks and dependencies. • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and dashboards using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Project. • Prepare and deliver executive-level communications, including status updates, risk summaries, and audit readiness briefings. • Support the creation, review, and implementation of technical architecture documentation and system diagrams. • Adapt to a dynamic and evolving environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines. Qualifications: • Minimum 7 years of project management experience, preferably in technical, security, or compliance domains. • Proven experience managing security audits or compliance initiatives (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001). • Strong understanding of vulnerability management, remediation workflows, and GRC processes. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience briefing senior leadership. • Experience working with technical architecture documentation and system diagrams. • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent. • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment. #INDGEN
