Technical Software Manager

About this position

The Technical Software Manager is responsible for oversight for all aspects of the software design and development. Delivery of all technical aspects of software architecture into the product design. Projects responsibilities include working with major OEMs to deliver Advanced Safety Controllers for Level 0 to Level 3 safety capability ratings utilizing technologies such as embedded microprocessors, Ethernet, and CAN protocols, along with GPS, ultrasonic, cameras and Radar technology.

Function of the role is to deliver production intent, automotive grade software to enable advanced safety features for future vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Owns engineering governance, e.g., technical work breakdown, technical risk register, technical

open issues for the responsible competencies leveraging the different Competencies owner• Build a Technical Planning with the support of the TPD/M and leveraging the Competency

Architect aggregating a complete view for the different critical competencies like SYS, SW

(Integration, Cyber/OTA), Safety.• Monitors work product deliverables planned for all product releases and program increments

(PIs)

• First line of communication with the TPM and EPL in the Region
• Single point of contact for supplier
• Plan and manage deliverables from supplier

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering• Working experience with Large embedded production program• Strong technical background on Automotive products• Customer and supplier interface and Management• AGIL and ASPICE familiarity• Strong in project planning and execution

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering• Excellent communication / presentation skills• Embedded microprocessor experience (operating systems, I/O drivers, communication drivers)• Understanding of POSIX Operating system with RTOS : LINUX/VxWorks/QNX• Understanding of CICD pipeline
