The Opportunity
DAT is looking for a Software Product Support Specialist to join our award-winning Product Support team in Beaverton, OR.
Product Support Specialist is an advanced, customer-facing role. You’ll deliver a high level of technical expertise on the full range of DAT’s products.

Candidate Profile
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Ability to identify and solve customer technical issues through a high degree of understanding of DAT products.
- Ability to produce consistently high-quality technical support while maintaining excellent documentation.
- Advanced customer service skills and passion for helping customers and resolving issues.

What You’ll Do
- Deliver a high level of customer service and technical support to DAT customers.
- Respond to support requests and acts as a technical advisor for DAT supported products.
- Analyzes customer issues to distinguish usability issues from technical issues.
- Assist product development by being a voice of the customer and expressing problems, concerns, and requests.
- Provide training and industry knowledge to customers on DAT products.
- Coach and mentor more junior team members.
- Respond and resolve billing inquiries, maintain accurate customer information.
- Assist with load posting and searching capabilities.
- Manage and update customer information.
- Train customers on the most efficient and effective use of the software.
- Receive and proactively resolve application support calls by phone and email.
- Occasional business travel
The Skills and Experience You’ll Need
- At least three years of direct experience delivering technical product support in a call center environment.Â
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adhere to established business rules and maintain highly accurate documentation.
- Basic technical ability to resolve customer issues and assist as needed.
- DAT provides a laptop and optional equipment as needed for productivity. A hard-wired connection from the laptop to the router/modem with an ethernet cable is required. Wireless, satellite, microwave, and cellular hotspot connections do not qualify because they can compromise security and call stability.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
For Colorado-based candidates, in compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the minimum wage for this role is $25/hour + benefits. The maximum compensation for this role can vary significantly depending on your job-related skills and experience. DAT considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education and training, core skills, internal equity, and market and business elements when extending an offer.
