Technology Project Manager/PM - Data Center, Structured Cabling & AV Technology

Infinite Networks – Infinite Audiovisualis looking for Technology Project Managers and PMs PROJECT ENGINEER JOB SUMMARY: The role includes Project Management, Design, Installation and repair of telecommunications cabling, data center IT infrastructure and various technologies. Project Engineers and PMs should be experienced managing projects from start to finish, resourceful in challenging situations and also capable and available for field installation work. We are looking for individuals with experience reviewing customer project requirements and gathering additional information to complete the SOW/LOE/BOM quoting process. This is a Pre-sales and Post-sales position. After projects are awarded Project Engineers work with our core team to support our field technician employees and/or local subcontractors to ensure projects are completed successfully and on time. Our team is currently managing project work on a global scale across multiple time zones. We offer a very entrepreneurial compensation plan that includes base hourly pay or salary with profit sharing in the form of sales commissions and performance bonuses. Project Engineering Role - Expertise in all systems is not expected • Structured Cabling Copper and Fiber Optic Design to Build • Data Center Technologies and Infrastructure • Power Distribution and UPS • Audiovisual Systems • Surveillance and Access Control • IOE - IOT Technologies • Pre-sales consulting and post-sales support • Opportunity/Project review and discussions internal and external with customers • Solution development through product research and collaboration with partners • (SOW) Scope Of Work – Document development • (LOE) Level Of Effort labor quote– Document development • (BOM) Bill Of Materials quote – Document development • Site Survey, onsite and remote support – Document development • Project Workbook or As-Built – Document development • Onsite technical project engineering – resource management • Remote support and remote management of installations • High level organizational skills and self management • Professionalism, Integrity and a positive attitude are essential Field Engineer Skills: These skills are required • Install, terminate and test various low voltage cable types. Cat6A, Cat6, Cat5e, Coax, Fiber, etc. • Working knowledge of basic telecom systems (Analog, PBX, VoIP, T1 circuits) install and troubleshoot cabling. • Working knowledge of basic data systems and hardware • Racking and stacking networking systems and data storage • Read, understand and implement installation from provided Scope of Work, pot matrix and schematic diagrams. • Ability to follow schedules and meet deadlines • Professional and timely communication – sending complete deliverables, communicating with both field and project management in timely manner via phone, instant messenger and email.
