Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivatedTelephone Representativeto join our customer service team. This in-person role is responsible for providing a superior service experience to members and dental providers through timely and accurate responses to inquiries regarding claims, benefits, and eligibility. The ideal candidate is empathetic, detail-oriented, and driven to exceed expectations in a contact center environment. Key Responsibilities • Handle inbound calls from members and providers regarding insurance coverage, claims status, benefits, and general inquiries with empathy and professionalism. • Provide clear and concise information while navigating and updating client records in the CRM system. • Verify eligibility and determine coverage based on plan documents and policy terms. • Accurately process claims in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all interactions and actions taken. • Comply with HIPAA regulations and ensure the confidentiality of all member information. • Use soft skills (empathy, active listening, call control) to enhance every interaction. • Support outbound call campaigns and other duties as assigned. • Identify and suggest opportunities to improve service delivery and operational efficiency. • Proactively assist in retaining provider partnerships and expanding the network where applicable. Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a contact center, preferably within a health or dental insurance setting. • Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet SMART goals. • Familiarity with contact center metrics and a firm understanding of how to meet/exceed service level expectations. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; able to quickly learn proprietary systems. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business logic skills. • Adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
