Test Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY

The position title is located in Hazel Park, MI.

Test Engineer's role to support all test systems for Akasol Gen 3 Battery Packs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to analyze test data to find root cause of failures.
• Ability to troubleshoot test systems which may require support in Labview/electronics/interface systems to the test system
• Support implementation and improvements for traceability systems for all test data
• Implement robust PM plan for test systems
• Work with technicians for training/troubleshooting of the testers
• Lead continuous improvement plan for Module & System test systems to improve OE & FTQ.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical manufacturing processes
• High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
• Familiarity with safety standards for industrial equipment (OSHA, NFPA, etc)
• Ability to troubleshoot Labview programs
• Statistical analysis

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering: Computer and/or Electrical Engineering preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required.
• Understanding of Electronic systems
