Test Engineer / Lead

Your Role and Responsibilities
Who you are:

• Testing all aspects of the product/system including function/component system performance regression and service
• Work with development team to identify and capture test cases and ensure version management
• Setting up of test environments designing test plans developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases and executing these cases
• Providing feedback on usability and serviceability trace the result to quality risk and report it to concerned people in development
• Build the Test Automation suite for product using industry standard Automation tools/technologies

What you’ll do:
As a Test Engineer you will

• Understand the requirements and write test scenarios / test cases.
• Perform in depth product testing both from UI and backend.
• Design develop and maintain Automation Framework and scripts
• Take ownership of test status reporting tracking work assigned to test team.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of Experience in testing and Automating Web Applications / Large Enterprise Applications.
• Excellent knowledge in testing skills (write test scenarios and test cases executing test cases opening defects verifying defects)
• Strong in Testing concepts. Good understanding of SDLC Test and Defect Life Cycle
• Expertise in any one of the object oriented programming languages preferably Java
• Excellent Knowledge of Automation tools like Selenium Cypress and various automation frameworks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source automation technologies and tools
• Demonstrated Analytical skills and decision-making ability attention to details and a strong test aptitude
• Ability to work in a team as well as an individual contributor
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain deadlines

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in Agile development methodologies and processes.
• Experience in test management tools like JIRA TestRail Jenkins
• Experience in RDBMS and SQL queries
• Knowledge of Data Security domain
