TIG Welder - 2nd Shift

Summary: EVS Metal is a custom metal manufacturing company that works in a variety of industries. A Welder out our company specializes in TIG and welds on a variety of materials/products. We predominantly work on aluminum and stainless steel, however there will be opportunities for other types of materials as well. Your primary responsibilities will include interpreting blueprints and executing precise welding tasks. 2nd Shift: 2:30pm - 11pm (M-F) Tig Welder Job Duties: • Use of Gas Metal Arc Welding in the manufacturing process • Read and understand blueprints • Must be able to read and follow operating instructions provided. • Understand AWS weld symbols • Welding parts in various directions • Take measurements • Follow all quality and safety procedures Tig Welder Requirements: • have at least 3-5 years’ experience • possess technical know-how of welding equipment • ability to fuse weld stainless steel • ability to weld thin gauge aluminum • able to read blueprints, understand weld symbols and take measurements • Weld Tests will be administered • High School Diploma required General Requirements: • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Retirement plan • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
