  • Level II Trauma Center
  • Discharge Ready Unit
  • Patient care for a variety of patients awaiting community placement
  • Heavy behavioral/psych care with security presence
  • Non-acute care with focus on fall prevention and skin integrity
  • Team nursing approach with specific patient ratios
    Job Requirements
  • RN/LPN & Tech: BLS required
  • CNA: BLS required
  • Minimum Experience: RN and LPN - 1 year, CNA - 1 year
    Schedule Information
  • 26 weeks preferred but not required
  • Weekend rotation: Every other
  • No call required
  • Holiday expectations vary as needed
    Unit Specific Information
  • Patient ratios: RN up to 1:9, CNA up to 1:8, LPN up to 1:9
  • Charge nurse typically unassigned
  • Support staff includes social workers and case managers
  • Charting system: Cerner, Alaris, Pyxis
