Minimum experience: 1 year First time traveler: Upon review Beds: 29 Patient Types: MSU, diabetes, kidney/liver/heart failure, respiratory, stroke, cardiac dysrhythmias Mandatory skills: wound care, insulin gtt, heparin gtt, trachs, chest tubes, NGT, feeding tubes Certifications: BLS, RN to Patient Ratios: Day- 1:5; Night- 1:6 Tech to Patient Ratios: 1:8 Floating: MST, overflow units (ICU/MS) (rare) (Travelers first) Telemetry Monitoring: Yes, centralized with a tele tech Scrub Color: Any color, except denim and camo Notes: Fast-paced environment, with 8-10 admits/discharges per day. RN support includes Charge nurses, unit leadership, hospital supervisor and clinical resource nurses. Shift: Three 12 hour shifts (1900-0730)
