8H/D Must have 2 years of SPT Supervisor Experience. Some weekends and on call may be required. Skills: 3 years Experience in an acute or ambulatory care sterile processing department as a sterile processing technician 1 year Supervisory experience in an acute or ambulatory care sterile processing department. Experience with all functions of a Sterile Processing Department, including decontamination, assembly, sterilization, packaging, storage, quality testing and monitoring, use of personal protective equipment, and data and documentation management, according to applicable regulations, standards and guidelines (e.g., CMS, TJC, AAMI, AORN, APIC, etc.) 5 years Experience in an acute-care sterile processing department preferred 3 years Progressive supervisory experience preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree In Business, Manufacturing, Health Care Administration, Public Health, Health Sciences OR equivalent combination of education, training and experience PREFERRED Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) OR Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) - The Certification Board for Sterile Processing & Distribution -REQUIRED Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) -PREFERRED
