** FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE || WORK ANYWHERE IN WASHINGTON ** We are looking for responsive, responsible pharmacists who can help us continue to epitomize the true meaning of β€œrelief” whenever there is a temporary or on-going need for a pharmacist within the state of Washington. SPR is an equal opportunity employer offering opportunities to work in various pharmacy settings, including independents, LTC, compounding, specialty, hospitals and NIH-funded research organizations. ----- Depending on the location, job responsibilities can include, but are not limited to: β€’ Commitment to providing patient care that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated. β€’ Responsible for being professional, displaying a positive attitude, and communicating well of the client company in the presence of patients/customers or on social media. β€’ Administer immunizations to customers following State Collaborative Practice Agreement, client pharmacy standing orders and procedures. β€’ Successfully complete clinical services according to relevant case load. β€’ Dispense medications pursuant to prescriptions and, following laws, regulations, policies and procedures, and ethical standards. β€’ Compound medications when necessary using standard formulas and processes, such as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients. β€’ Verify prescriptions issued by prescribers to assure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed. β€’ Verify new medication against existing medication and patient profile to ensure that there are no drug or drug disease interactions prior to filling prescription. β€’ Counsel patients. β€’ Verify the work of the pharmacy technicians and interns, including accuracy of all prescriptions assembled. β€’ Support special promotions in consultation with the pharmacy manager. β€’ Follow protocols on recalls. β€’ Maintain established procedures for quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs. β€’ Work to prevent and report theft or fraud. β€’ Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identify or correcting unsafe conditions. β€’ Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal laws and guidelines, including HIPAA fraud, waste and abuse (Medicare), and DEA procedures. β€’ Work collaboratively with team members to promote teamwork and align the goals of the client pharmacy. β€’ Promote trust and respect among the team.| β€’ Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation. ----- Minimum Qualifications: β€’ Must be a licensed pharmacist in good standing, with State Board Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD. β€’ Excellent verbal communication skills. β€’ Excellent planning and organizational skills. β€’ High attention to detail and accuracy is a must. β€’ Understands and adheres to HIPAA. β€’ Ability to handle highly confidential information. β€’ Must have active Washington State pharmacist license. β€’ Immunization certified (preferred). ----- Be a part of a team that cares about helping you to create your own version of success, whether it entails more experience in pharmacy, more exposure to different settings, or more balance in your life through flexibility in your job!
