Traveling Licensed Electrician

Schedule:Up to 95% travel required to job sites (home on weekends). Full-time, Non-Exempt position. The Traveling Licensed Electrician will be responsible for leading projects, ensuring compliance with all safety code regulations and supervise an apprentice and/or a Journeyman Electrician. Traveling Licensed Electrician Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage electrical projects from conception to completion. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to code. • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and equipment. • Design electrical systems and circuits, as well as contribute to project plans and prepare wiring diagrams when necessary. • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. • Direct and ensure compliance with state, local, and national electrical codes and standards. • Supervise and train apprentice and journeyman electricians. Ensure the team adheres to workplace safety protocols and electrical best practices. • Consult with clients/customers to determine their requirements and provide cost estimates. • Maintain documentation and prepare reports concerning work progress. Traveling Licensed Electrician Requirements: Required Skills/Abilities: • Thorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policies. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask/prioritize work • Ability to read, interpret, and explain policies and procedures used in purchasing. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
