US Sourcing Coordinator

The Role

The Boohoo Group are looking for a USA Sourcing co-ordinator to be based in our office in LA. They will be responsible for growing the groups US supply base and factories. They need to be fast paced, agile and organised. Day to day they will be liaising with buyers from our 13 UK based brands, supporting suppliers on questions, and managing critical paths.

The Team

We started out as one brand with only three team members in 2006, today we are now made up of 13 amazing brands and counting, we have offices all over the world and we've grown to a 6,000+ strong team we call our boohoo family - and we don't plan on stopping yet. Responsible Sourcing and Product Operations is reimagining how the Group works globally. We cover Sustainability, Sourcing, Ethical Trade, Product Quality and Operational Efficiency. We turn challenges into opportunities so we can be as commercially and operationally effective as possible while still being ethical and sustainable! In some companies, what we do gets split into many smaller teams. Not us. Together we align all areas and achieve our goals, constantly pushing for better.

What you will be doing

• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to manage the end-to-end sourcing process.
• Source new suppliers and maintain relationships with existing ones to ensure a diverse and reliable supplier base.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to optimize cost and efficiency.
• Coordinate and monitor the production timeline to ensure on-time delivery of products.
• Communicate and troubleshoot any production or sourcing issues that may arise.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and competitive landscape.
• Assist in quality control and inspection processes to maintain product standards.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to sourcing and supplier interactions.
• Work closely with design, production, and logistics teams to facilitate seamless product development and delivery.
• Support sustainability and ethical sourcing initiatives by identifying and partnering with responsible suppliers.
• Stay informed about relevant regulations and compliance standards related to sourcing and production.

• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
• Knowledge of market trends and sourcing best practices.
• Familiarity with sustainability and ethical sourcing practices is a plus.
