USDA Customer Service Representative

Summary We are seeking a USDA Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team in the heart of the logistics industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting our mission of excellence at Global Freight Solutions. You will be based in the United States and play a crucial role in enhancing our customer experience. Responsibilities • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. • Assist clients with their USDA service needs and provide accurate information about services. • Maintain clear communication with customers via phone and email. • Process orders and manage data entry tasks and workflow surges as needed. Pay close attention to detail, data entry, paperwork, and billing- updating as required to accommodate last minute changes and follow USDA protocols. • Ability to handle several things at once, stay calm and focused under changing situations, maintain order and prioritize actions as needed, and communicate clearly and accurately to all necessary parties to ensure successful outcomes. • Collaborate with warehouse and transportation team members to enhance service delivery. • Uphold company standards of excellence in every interaction. Employ accuracy, efficiency and excellent time management. • Utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation and reporting. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the customer service department. • Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus. • Proven experience in customer service. • Strong communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred but not mandatory. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. • Previous experience in a food fulfillment setting is an advantage. • USDA experience is a BIG plus!!!
