Job Description As a Virtual TDHH, your responsibilities will include: Delivering specialized instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in an online setting Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Utilizing American Sign Language (ASL), cued speech, and/or oral communication strategies as appropriate Collaborating with general education teachers, speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and other support staff Monitoring and documenting student progress toward academic and communication goals Supporting families and caregivers through virtual consultations and training Providing access to learning via technology and accessibility tools Staying current on best practices in Deaf education and remote learning Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field Valid Teaching Certification with endorsement in Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH) Active teaching licensure or ability to become licensed in Nevada Proficiency in ASL strongly preferred Experience with virtual instruction or teletherapy platforms is a plus Familiarity with hearing assistive technology, FM systems, and captioning tools Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Reliable internet connection and dedicated teaching space for virtual sessions Why Work with Connected Health Care?
