Warehouse Associate and On-Call Delivery Driver

We are looking for an energetic, motivated individual to join our Team as a Warehouse Associate and on-call Delivery Driver. This position requires accuracy to fill customer orders and prepare products for will call or shipping. We are looking for a candidate who can also serve as a safe, dependable driver to make customer deliveries on an on-call basis during the summer. Successful candidates will be detail oriented, have excellent communication skills and a positive customer service attitude. As a Warehouse Associate you will: • Assist customers with order pickup • Load, unload, and put away freight/ inventory • Prepare customer orders for pickup and shipment • Participate in ongoing training to increase knowledge base and skill set • Perform a variety of tasks • Work under general supervision As an On-Call Delivery Driver you will: • Drive the company delivery truck safely and appropriately • Maintain efficient operation of the vehicle and report any damages to vehicle or customer property • Provide exceptional customer service ensuring timely deliveries • Efficient route planning and execution • Verify correct product loaded for delivery • Refuel the vehicle Qualifications: • High school diploma or its equivalent • Forklift experience required • Clean Driving Record required (no more than 2 DMV points in a 3 year period; no more major violations; no bodily injury at fault accidents on driving record, and must be insurable under the company's insurance policy • Ability to navigate via map books & GPS equipment • RF Scanner experience desirable • Knowledge of shipping and receiving a plus • Strong computer skills • Ability to lift up to 50lbs The schedule is an 8-hour day shift Monday through Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm.
