Warehouse Machine Operator

Leading global metals manufacturing and distribution company is looking for full-time Warehouse Machine Operators at a key service center location in Conshohocken, PA. Candidates should ideally have metals service center work experience that may include saw-cutting, machining and processing, and packaging of steel and aluminum products. Further training will include Plate Sawing, Heat Treating, Deep Hole Gundrilling, and CNC Machining. We are looking for self-motivated individuals, possessing good communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work within a team. Key Functions: · Operate machines including band saws, CNC machines, and heat-treatment furnaces · Unload and receive metal materials into stock · Package and band metal materials for shipment · Operating fork-lift and overhead crane equipment · Position, secure, and measure metal materials on machines, using fixturing devices, precision measuring instruments, hand tools, and hoists · Perform duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards · Loading and unloading of heat treatment furnaces · Quality control including inspection and hardness testing of materials · Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition Requirements: · Prefer 1 to 3+ years of experience in metal service center operations · Full training on all relevant job equipment will be provided · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. · Willingness to work overtime as required · Strong ability to work within a team · Proficiency in math, reading comprehension, mechanical abilities · Dependability and high motivation · Valid Driver's License required Benefits: · Benefits eligibility on the 1st of the month following employment · Medical / Dental / Vision Plan options of PPO · Company Paid Life Insurance · Company Paid Uniforms after completion of 90-day evaluation period · Paid Time Off package – begin accruing PTO at time of employment · 401K with Company Matching Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Employee assistance program • Employee discount • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Health savings account • Life insurance • Paid time off • Referral program • Vision insurance Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday • Overtime Work Location: In person
