CMG has an opening in the Advertising Department for a Web Graphic Designer reporting to the Creative Services Manager. Our Web Graphic Designers execute designs based on marketing strategies and objectives, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and other design team members to provide the best creative solutions on our platform. This individual will have 3+ years of experience as a web designer with a solid understanding of graphic and responsive website design fundamentals and be proficient in design applications.

Position Details:

Work Schedule:  Onsite at Colorado Springs office Monday - Friday. 

Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000

Report to: Creative Services Manager

Responsibilities:

• Create, design, and build web pages using Adobe Photoshop, HTML and CSS within Magento 2.
• Produce memorable, relevant, and action-oriented email broadcasts (utilizing your knowledge of email design structure, linking, and email client constraints), banner ads, and social media graphics.
• Apply understanding of user experience to make recommendations and improvements across the areas of design, experience, and content.
• Direct photo shoots and utilize photography in digital media.
• Stay up to date with best practices in design trends, web usability, web design, and business/industry trends.
• Maintain brand identity for our unique consumer brands.

Qualifications:

• BA or BS in Graphic Design and/or Web Design, Visual Arts, Computer Science, Interaction Design, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Web Graphic designer, preferably in a B2C environment.
• Advanced skills using Adobe Creative Suites programs.
• Ability to hand code Standards-Compliant HTML, CSS, and Responsive Design concepts.
• Familiarity with SEO concepts and best practices.
• Must possess superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to manage multiple projects from strategy to final deliverable.
• Must be deadline-oriented, can multi-task, highly organized, and able to work independently.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply new technologies.
• Must be able to follow and adhere to a tight production schedule.
• Magento 2 experience desired, but not required.
• Print design experience a plus.
• Friendly and flexible.
