This particular role is going to be focused on a fun/complex/scaling Fintech - a challenge for a true A player. You'll join a team of 6 early in its formation but with already some great experience - a chance to learn and a chance to make an impact.
About Role
We’re seeking a highly skilled developer with over 7 years of hands-on experience in development and minimum 4+ years of experience in Web3 development. This project is about innovating in the web3 space. There's some great ideas already floating around and new ideas are welcome - this is your chance to create the web3 Fintech solutions you've always wanted to. We're already working on exchanges staking algo trader AI/ML etc.
Must Have Requirements:
- Proficiency in Web3.js (Strong understanding of Ethereum and decentralized application (dApp) development)
- Smart Contract Development (Experience in writing deploying testing smart contracts using Solidity or similar languages as well as auditing and optimizing smart contracts for security and performance)
- Experience with Crypto Exchanges (in developing and deploying crypto exchanges including handling transactions order matching and wallet integrations)
- Node Verification and Staking (Hands-on experience with node setup verification and maintenance)
- Blockchain Fundamentals (Strong understanding of blockchain technology including consensus mechanisms cryptographic principles and decentralized finance (DeFi) concepts)
- 5+years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript especially in the context of Web3.js and smart contract interaction
- Experience with integrating blockchain-based APIs (e.g. Infura Alchemy) for interacting with nodes and networks
- In-depth understanding of security best practices in Web3 development including secure key management data encryption and vulnerability mitigation
- Experience with Ethereum and EVM-compatible Chains
- Strong Communication Skills ( verbal and written communication abilities)
- Experience in leading development teams and managing projects from inception to deployment
- A passion for staying updated with the latest trends best practices and emerging technologies in the React ecosystem
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A positive attitude adaptability and a collaborative mindset are key traits we value. The ability to work seamlessly within cross-functional teams and contribute positively to the overall team culture is imperative
Nice to Have Requirements:
- Knowledge of Other Blockchain Networks (such as Solana Polkadot or Cardano)
- Experience with DeFi Protocols (Uniswap Aave or Compound)
- Front-end Development Skills (React Angular Vue.js)
- Understanding of NFTs and Token Standards
- Participation in Open Source Projects
- Experience with Layer 2 Solutions (such as Optimistic Rollups zk-Rollups)
- Participation in Open Source Projects

Application Process:
Stage 2 will be an asynchronous video interview (because no one sensible enjoys too many meetings)
Stage 3 will be Tech test
Stage 4 will be the Interview with our CTO and CEO
