Weekends Per Diem Middle/High School Teacher

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle/High School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and academic success. This role involves developing and implementing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing mentorship to help students achieve their educational goals. Duties • Design and deliver engaging lesson plans in subjects such as Algebra and Geometry, ensuring alignment with state standards. • Assess student performance through various methods, including tests, projects, and classroom participation. • Provide individualized tutoring and academic advising to support students' learning needs. • Maintain effective classroom management to create a respectful and productive learning environment. • Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum development to enhance educational offerings. • Mentor students by offering guidance on academic and personal challenges, fostering their growth both inside and outside the classroom. • Proofread and review student work to provide constructive feedback on style and content. Skills • Strong mentoring abilities to guide students in their academic journeys. • Proficiency in Algebra and Geometry concepts, with the ability to teach them effectively. • Excellent proofreading skills to assist students in refining their writing style. • Effective classroom management techniques that promote a positive learning atmosphere. • Experience in tutoring students across various subjects, adapting strategies to meet individual needs. • Knowledge of curriculum development processes to contribute innovative ideas for course improvement. • Ability to provide academic advising that supports students' educational pathways and future aspirations.
