Wood Fabricator/Cabinet-Maker Located 30 minutes north of Seattle, Dillon Works specializes in the design and fabrication of the more adventurous custom-themed dimensional and architectural elements. Our projects include themed elements within shopping malls, retail venues, amusement parks, casinos, exhibits, displays, restaurants, signage and more. We are currently seeking an experienced Wood and Plastics Fabricator/Cabinet-Maker to work in our Fabrication Shop. We offer a competitive benefits package and a wage in the range of $24 to $27 per hour, DOE, for this position. Basic Function This is not an entry-level position. You must be an experienced wood & plastics fabricator, adept at reading blueprints & have significant experience with wood and plastics fabrication. You will be working collaboratively with our talented design team and other fabricators, and under the supervision of the Fabrication Shop Supervisor. Qualifications: • Must be an experienced wood & plastics fabricator and/or cabinet-maker. • Adept at reading blueprints, following direction, and making changes on the fly. • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience with wood and platics fabrication. • Able-bodied and able to lift 40 lbs. • High School diploma or GED. • Must be a team player who gets along well with coworkers. • Able to work overtime when required. • Must adhere to safe shop practices and use all provided PPE Responsibilities • Utilize hand and power tools to fabricate and assemble wood products, including cabinets and furniture. • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate construction and design specifications. • Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met. • Perform quality checks on finished products to maintain high standards. • Engage in ongoing training to enhance carpentry skills and stay updated on industry practices.
