Summary
This position is located at Fort Leonard Wood Sports Post Level.

Duties
Supports activities and services of the athletics and intramural sports program. Provides oversight of events and tournaments. Ensures adherence to regulations and safety procedures. Provides outstanding customer service with an emphasis on courtesy.
Maintains cleanliness and organization of athletic facilities. Monitors condition of, cleans, and performs minor maintenance on athletics equipment. Reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage
Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards.
Assists in setting up for special events and sports tournaments. Assistants with publicity of events and tournaments and with the delivery and placement of posters, flyers, and other promotional material.
Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Performs other duties as assigned.

Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one-year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, Chapter 2. to include a medical examination and Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.
Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include early morning, late nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45 pounds independently.
Must be able to lift and carry objects over 45 pounds with assistance.
Must be able to endure physical demands beyond normal requirements including prolonged standing and walking, and must be able to work in
settings where exposure to moderate discomforts may exist.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of the position.
Must be able to obtain a nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered Highly Preferred:
HIGHLY PREFERRED:
One year of full-time work experience in the sports and fitness industry.
Current nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
**To meet Highly Preferred eligibility, you must meet all Minimum and Highly Preferred Qualifications, and this information must be clearly detailed on your resume.**

PCS Costs
Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Allowances and Differentials
This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
