Learn more about this agency Duties In a patron usage facility circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory. receives and resolves customer complaints. Provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery. Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instructions, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc. Leads the work of other employees, passes on to other workers instructions received from the supervisor and starts work. Distributes and balances work-load assuring that each employee has enough work to keep busy. Answers questions of other employees on procedures, policies, and directives. Provides leadership, guidance and oversight in program operations. Provides on-on-the job training to new employees. Plans, conducts, publicize and arrange support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, Chapter 2. to include a medical examination and Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities. Incumbent must be willing and able to work varying shifts to include days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
