Locums Interventional Radiology Physician

We are seeking a skilled Locums Interventional Radiology Physician to join our team in Asheboro, NC. This position offers an excellent opportunity to provide vital radiological services in a supportive and community-focused healthcare environment.The shift for this role is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While the primary schedule is Monday through Friday, we are also open to considering candidates who prefer a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday schedule, particularly for Mammography services.In this role, you will perform light interventional procedures, focusing on non-complex interventions essential to patient care. These procedures include image-guided biopsies, drainages, PICC line placements, as well as paracentesis and thoracentesis, which involve fluid removal from the abdomen and chest. Additionally, you will handle routine imaging needs such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, ensuring comprehensive diagnostic services for our patients.The systems used in this role include Meditech for EMR, Intelerad for PACS, and Fluency for voice recognition. Requirements:·         Board Certification is required.·         BLS/ACLS Certification is mandatory.·         North Carolina medical license and DEA registration. Asheboro, NC, offers a unique combination of small-town charm and access to modern amenities.
