Locums Radiology-Mammography Physician

We are seeking a qualified Locums Radiology-Mammography Physician to join our team in Asheboro, NC. This role is ideal for a radiologist with expertise in breast imaging who is committed to providing high-quality care in a patient-centered environment.The shift for this position is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While the preferred schedule is Monday through Friday, we are open to candidates who prefer working on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.In this role, you will be responsible for performing and interpreting a range of breast imaging procedures, including 3D mammography, digital mammography, and breast ultrasounds. Additionally, you will conduct diagnostic procedures such as stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning for patients.You will work with state-of-the-art systems, including Meditech for EMR, Intelerad for PACS, and Fluency for voice recognition, providing a seamless and efficient workflow. Requirements: ·         Board Certification is required.·         BLS/ACLS Certification is mandatory.·         North Carolina medical license and DEA registration.  Asheboro, NC, offers a unique combination of small-town charm and access to modern amenities.
