Locums to Perm Oncology Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Oncology Physician for a locums-to-permanent position at a 127-bed Level III trauma center in Coos Bay, Oregon. This role offers the opportunity to work in a community-focused healthcare facility while providing exceptional oncology care.In this position, you will work 8-hour days with on-call responsibilities. The on-call rotation is 1:4, primarily consisting of critical lab calls, with a requirement of seven days of call per month, including one weekend. You will be part of a dedicated oncology team providing comprehensive cancer care to a diverse patient population. Shift Details:  8-hour day shifts On Call Requirements: 7 days of call per month, including one weekend; 1:4 call schedule focused on critical lab calls  Qualifications:  Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology (required) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required) Active Oregon medical license or willingness to obtain (required)  Coos Bay is located on Oregon’s beautiful southern coast, offering residents and visitors breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and access to various outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing, and beachcombing.
