JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Weekly shadow of different professionals within our Cybersecurity organization

• Gather information, formulate reviews, and conduct extensive research of best practice security solutions and processes
• Review weekly findings with direct manager and review best practices
• Fundamental understanding of endpoint security solutions to include File Integrity Monitoring and Data Loss Prevention
• Fundamental understanding of anti-virus software, intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewalls, and content filtering

Requirements:

• Active student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer & Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related degree
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Minimum of 6-12 credits in advanced Computer Science- related courses
• Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, problem-solving skills, time management, and customer service skills, including ability to be assertive and diplomatic
• Basic knowledge and experience with any of the following: information security analysis, digital forensics & incident response, security assessments
• Previous work or classroom experience in one of the following: information systems, systems audit, information systems security, or data analytics
