About our Summer Internship Program:WW / WeightWatchers’ 11-week, paid summer internship program provides robust opportunities for learning and professional development, networking, engagement with our leadership team, full immersion into our mission-driven business and more. Who we areOur Global Omni-Channel CRM Operations (GOCO) team at WeightWatchers is made up of innovative, free-thinking, fast-paced tech team members that sit in between our data and communications functionality. We work cross-functionally with the Global Product & Data Engineering teams, in conjunction with Local Marketing teams, across 15 countries (speaking 6 different languages) to facilitate large-scale initiatives. Our team works directly with almost every facet of the business and we are constantly working to innovate anything & everything, including how we work with communications like Push-Notifications, Emails, SMS and In-App messaging to name a few!
What you will doDepending on your interests, you may have the opportunity to own the following projects:
Develop a standardized reporting structure for a category of ongoing campaigns. Review / compare the results of all markets & provide actionable feedback. Lead the effort to implement the highest value add action items.
Analyze WW communication frequency/targeting, research best-practices, & provide actionable timelines to improve processes.
Review existing email testing practices across all markets & lead a testing workshop. Work with markets to follow this structure in their next email test, report on results, & continue iterations.
Analyze the design of existing marketing communications for each market & lead a design workshop based on their results / your knowledge of UX best practices. Work with markets to create a design testing strategy for their next campaigns, report on results, & continue iterations.
Review triggered communications, redesign and implement changes to improve delivery timing & failure processes
Develop and execute new data points - writing the queries in BigQuery
Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
You will support global marketing & product teams to build and deploy new projects. Based on your skills & interests, this will include a combination of the following: segment & attribute development, building API integrations/triggers, & building email templates.
You have a graduation date between December 2023 & May 2024
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Passion for learning about the latest tools and technologies
Desire to seek out challenges and learn from others
Critical eye for identifying and solving issues
Ability to explain builds/processes to non-technical business owners
Technical documentation
Technical Skills: HTML, JSO, SQL
Nice to Have:
SDK integrations & push notification enablement
API development (Mule or Redhat exposure a plus)
Exposure to email coding specifically
Big Query, Google Analytics (reporting & tagging), & Looker experience
