2024 Point72 Academy Investment Analyst Winternship

We’re training the next generation of Point72 investors.

The Point72 Academy is the Firm’s primary training ground for its long/short analysts. Our in-depth instruction and hands-on training offer bright minds the opportunity to learn our business and earn an Academy associate seat at our Firm. The Point72 Academy curriculum includes modeling and research skill-building, and exposure to our long/short investment professionals.

Point72 Academy Winternship

The Point72 Academy Winternship is a three-week training program for students interested in exploring a career in investing. The Winternship includes live, in person training in our New York City office for the first week on January 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Please consider this before applying.

Following the first week, you will get virtual crash courses in investing topics from our Point72 Academy instructors and gain exposure to our firm’s investment professionals. You will also work with your peers to prepare and present case studies to our teams.

• Introductory corporate finance
• Financial modeling
• Company valuation techniques
• Stock analysis, through granular case studies

• Compliance and regulatory mandates for investors

Eligibility:
• You are a student at an accredited university in the United States or Canada.
• Ability to attend in person training in NYC from January 3rd – 5th, 2024.
• Students graduating in Winter 2024 through Spring 2025

The US annual base salary for this role is $75,000 (USD) which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
