Your Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer for John Deere in Moline IL you will:
- Enhance Deere technology products to meet stakeholder specifications in availability quality and user experience with a focus on web applications.
- Drive product innovations using cloud and leading technologies conduct root cause analysis debug and prevent recurrence of complex application issues.
- Specialized responsibilities include supporting product design coding testing collaborating with stakeholders and adhering to agile software design methodologies for development and documentation.
- Up to 15 % remote work allowed. Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite. 10% international and domestic travel required to meet team members.
What Skills You Need
- 3 years of experience working with the TOTVS ERP suite and Core Banking modules to support secure identity integrations between regional enterprise applications and the global GSEC IAM platform
- 3 years of demonstrated experience using the Checkmarx application security scanning platform to identify triage and remediate vulnerabilities across enterprise software solutions
- 3 years of experience supporting and integrating legacy core banking technologies including CICS JCL VSAM and mainframe batch processing to enable secure identity workflows
- 2 years of experience in design development testing and integration of high complex software solutions using Java typescript NodeJS and RESTful APIs with database design data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints
- 2 years of experience in design and implement applications leveraging AWS services specifically ECS RDS EC2 Elastic Beanstalk S3 SQS and Lambda. Implement data change capture solutions using AWS Kinesis SNS and OpenSearch
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering IT or related field plus 3 years related experience.
