About the Position:
This position is located within Tripler Army Medical Center in the Directorate of Medicine, Department of Medicine Allergy Clinic in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Duties
Analyze statements of functions and works with interested personnel to eliminate duplication of functions.
Provide direct support to Health System Specialists by organizing, collecting, analyzing and presenting information.
Assist in the preparation of periodic overviews of services.
Attend meetings which affect current and future requirements of the program.

Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations or pre-existing immunity based on occupational risk, regardless of job series.
This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.
This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations. The appointee is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Employee shifts are rotated on a regularly scheduled basis.
The duties of this position may require the incumbent to carry a cell phone and be on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week on a rotational basis, based on the needs of the organization.
This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes preparing reports to improve productivity of healthcare services; provide direct support to staff members by collecting, analyzing and organizing data utilizing health care systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
OR
Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Healthcare Administration, Business Management.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
