Locum Anesthesiologist Opportunity in Pennsylvania

Position Overview:We are seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologists to provide locum tenens coverage at our critical access hospital in Pennsylvania. We are looking for candidates with availability for at least one week per month, with a preference for two weeks. Schedule: Monday-Friday: OR coverage 7 AM - 4 PM On-call coverage (30-minute response time required) Callbacks are rare (0-2 per night, primarily for OB cases) Weekend shifts: 24-hour call (Saturday/Sunday, 7 AM - 7 AM) Facility Details: Four operating room suites, endoscopy lab, and minor procedure room 5,500 surgical procedures annually, including orthopedics, general surgery, ENT, OB/GYN, urology, podiatry, pain management, and gastroenterology Average annual births: 200-250 Procedures: Epidurals (3-5/week), C-sections, regional blocks Requirements: Licensure: Pennsylvania medical license required Certifications: ACLS and DEA Experience: Minimum of 1 year Skills: Proficiency in regional blocks Support: APP/Mid-Level coverage (6 AM - 6 PM) CRNA supervision during daylight hours On-site specialties include General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Pain Management, Podiatry, Urology, Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Nephrology Explore the scenic beauty of Pennsylvania, with access to nearby airports and a variety of outdoor activities.
