Summary Serves as the Intelligence Systems and Capability Development Supervisor with responsibility for planning, developing, coordinating, and distributing all garrison and deployable intelligence systems and special intelligence communication systems resident within the Marine Forces, Special Operations Command (MARSOC) from three disparate Major Force Programs (2/3/11).This position is located in the USMC FORCES SPECIAL OPERATIONS CMD. Learn more about this agency Duties You will maintain awareness of emerging technologies related to potential enhancement of MARSOC technical intelligence capabilities You will draft and submit all required paperwork through DAI, the C4R process, to the division fund manager for approval and advises the division leadership on current year budget execution. You will prepare information papers, position papers, briefings, and other documentation to support the intelligence systems input to the USSOCOM Strategic Planning Process. Requirements Conditions of employment Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing. You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment. Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326. Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service. This position requires a periodic polygraph examination. This position may require a 2-Year DCIPS trial period requirement. This position is eligible for ad-hoc/situational telework at the discretion of management. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following such as: 1. Responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and distributing all garrison and deployable intelligence systems and special intelligence communication systems resident within the Marine Forces, Special Operations Command (MARSOC) from three disparate Major Force Programs. 2. Plans and coordinates all intelligence systems development, training, fielding, support, and accreditation requirements, for the long-term upward trajectory of MARSOC intelligence capabilities. 3. Assist in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution of centrally managed intelligence funds for MARSOC. Advises the Deputy Director on the MARSOC Intelligence Program Objective Memorandum and the planning for Operations and Maintenance of ISR assets. 4. Plan, direct, assign, lead, and monitor the work of the unit; hiring or selecting employees; managing and appraising employee and organizational performance; disciplining employees; resolving employee complaints; and supporting the development of employees. 5. Prepare information papers, position papers, briefings, and other documentation to support the intelligence systems input to the Strategic Planning Process.
