Learn more about this agency Duties You will prepare written detailed discrepancy reports of instances of failure of the contractor's quality assurance/inspection processes. You will ensure all facets of work performed meet government quality standards through surveillance. You will provide data/recommendations to the Quality Assurance Office for Contractor Performance Evaluations (CPE) on all contracts administered. You will provide direct support to the Project Manager on all project issues. Requirements Conditions of employment Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience evaluating and answering contractors' condition reports and determine progress. Experience accomplishing ship inspections to determine scope of work, generate work specifications and develop independent cost and time estimates. Experience ensuring quality through accomplishing check points and daily surveillance. Experience accepting or rejecting testing of ships systems according to contractual requirements. Experience coordinating repairs/modernization of work creating weekly reports and resolving delays.
