Locums Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner

Join our team in Davenport, IA, for a full-time locum tenens Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner position with responsibilities primarily in an inpatient behavioral health setting. This role involves Monday to Friday shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, encompassing clinic duties and/or day call with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.  In this role, you will provide psychiatric care within an inpatient behavioral health unit, which includes conducting assessments, diagnosing various mental health conditions, and developing treatment plans. You will manage a caseload averaging 8-11 patients daily, encompassing both adult and adolescent populations aged 8-17. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams will be essential to ensure comprehensive patient care and positive treatment outcomes. Additionally, participation in a 1:4 day call rotation during specified hours will be required to support ongoing patient care needs.Requirements:Board certification in Psychiatry.Active Iowa state medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).Experience in psychiatry; no new graduates considered.Davenport's appeal is a vibrant and livable city with a blend of natural beauty, cultural richness, and economic vitality.
