Summary This position is located at the MWR Marketing Department, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii (Island of Oahu, Hawaii.) Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Duties Provides comprehensive support to marketing office, Facility Managers, and DFMWR Leadership, under the general supervision of the Marketing Manager. Primary responsibility is to promote and market services that support strategic business initiatives, technical aspects of the digital fleet program and assists the commercial sponsorship efforts. Develop, executes and Implements promotions and marketing campaigns to stimulate business, increase community awareness of assigned programs. Manage all aspects of the event or promotion including: marketing planning, marketing execution, and contribution to after-action reports. Participates in set-up and breakdown of event booths, marketing materials and equipment. Other duties may be assigned to support organization's objectives. Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation. Must be able to work irregular schedule, occasionally to attend special events (may include nights, weekends and holidays). Local travel is required in the commuting area. Must possess and maintain a valid State's Driver's license. Ability to lift and carry equipment and tools weighing up to 25 pounds. Ability to climb up and down ladders safely. Ability to walk and stand for extended periods throughout the duration of the event. Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). A qualified candidate must possess the following: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Must possess organization skills, knowledge of marketing strategies and ability to manage multiple projects effectively. 2. Related work experience that includes the promotion of events, programs and services. 3. Knowledge of information broadcast through screen and or a speaker, including text, audio, video, and graphics that are transmitted over the internet for viewing. 4. Technical skills to effectively perform marketing and promotions using tools of the trade and social media. 5. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing . 6. Must be able to develop and make written and oral presentations of technical materials to nontechnical personnel. Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed until the minimum qualifications/duties criteria shown above. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": HIGHLY QUALIFIED CRITERIA: 1. Five (5+) years of demonstrated success in creating and implementing impactful marketing campaigns that that deliver measurable results. 2. Four (4+) years of hands-on experience in managing and optimizing digital platforms, with a proven track record of ensuring operational efficiency and user engagement. 3. Four (4+) years of experience in successfully managing sponsorship programs, including sponsor acquisition, relationship management, and event execution. 4. Five (5+) years of experience in stakeholder consultation, with a strong ability to align marketing strategies with client objectives and foster collaborative relationships.
