Locums Certified Cardiovascular and Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified Cardiovascular and Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician for a locum tenens position in Terre Haute, Indiana. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide 100% coverage for the hospital, ensuring high-quality care for cardiovascular and cardiothoracic patients in need of surgical intervention.In this position, you will provide 24-hour call coverage, managing all cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery cases for the hospital. You will be responsible for handling a patient volume of approximately five cases. Your responsibilities will include performing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) procedures and other related surgeries, working closely with the hospital staff to ensure comprehensive and timely care for all patients.Key Responsibilities include providing full coverage for cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgeries, managing a small patient load, and ensuring the successful execution of CABG and other critical procedures. You will be expected to respond to emergency cases and collaborate with the hospital team to maintain the highest standard of patient care. Qualifications:  Board Certified in Cardiovascular and Cardiothoracic Surgery (CABG required) Strong clinical experience in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic procedures Ability to handle 24-hour call coverage for hospital patients  Terre Haute, Indiana, offers a welcoming community with a blend of city conveniences and small-town charm.
