Locums Hospitalist Medicine Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a Locums Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner to join our hospitalist medicine team in Terre Haute, IN. This position provides an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality inpatient care during overnight hours in a supportive and collaborative environment. As a nocturnist, you will be responsible for providing overnight inpatient care for hospitalist medicine patients. This includes performing admissions, assessments, and managing both acute and chronic conditions. You will work closely with attending physicians, nursing staff, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. Additionally, you will respond to acute changes in patient conditions and manage emergencies during the night shift. Proficiency with the hospital’s electronic medical record (EMR) system will be essential for documentation and care coordination.   Qualifications   Active Indiana Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility for licensure). Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (Family or Adult-Gerontology preferred). Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Experience in hospitalist medicine or inpatient care is highly preferred.
