We have an opportunity for someone with a background in Technical Support to join the team and move their career forward into Cloud-Native Technologies and Site Reliability Engineering.
Being able to demonstrate the skills below is advantageous, don’t worry if you don’t currently have these skills, you will have the opportunity to learn them during your time at Ensono:
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide 3rd line support for escalated data-related issues, including database/data warehouse performance, data integrity, and ETL failures;
- Act as a technical escalation point for unresolved data platform issues;
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot databases/data warehouses and related infrastructure;
- Support and troubleshoot ETL processes and data integration pipelines;
- Collaborate with the data engineering team to ensure efficient data flow and transformation;
- Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation in the form of operational runbooks;
- Perform standard pre-approved changes within the scope of our client's Change Management Process (i.e. new users, etc.);
- Use Ensono’s helpdesk and work tracking systems to maintain logs of all support requests and incidents;
- Actively communicate with clients to ensure they are aware of updates to incidents and changes;
- Contribute to the effective management of information security risks aligned to both Ensono’s and our Clients compliance objectives;
- Manage the relationship with suppliers to our clients get the best value for their services
What you will bring to Ensono:
To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB);
- Proficiency in data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery);
- Experience with ETL tools and processes (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow);
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud);
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills related to data platforms;
- Good knowledge of Python and SQL;
- Behave with integrity and honesty with the trust we place in you to administer our client's IT systems;
- Remote helpdesk-based IT Support with a focus on 3rd line
- Troubleshooting a wide range of issues with custom applications and 3rd party systems;
- Following and maintaining operational runbooks;
- Following service management processes including change management and
- incident management
