Summary
About the position: This position is located at Eifel Arms Inn on Spangdahlem AB, Germany. This is a Flexible position (0-40 hours per week). Work schedule is Monday through Sunday, including holidays.

Duties
The primary purpose of this position is to perform the full range of duties for the Guest Services Representative.
The primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
Receives and confirms room reservations.
Registers and assigns rooms to guests; makes and issues room keys.
Calculates and posts charges to patrons' accounts.
Accepts payment by cash or credit card; makes change and issues receipts.
Maintains and sells sundry items, including alcoholic beverages.
May prepare daily cashier's report, daily activity report and/or consolidated daily activity report.
Performs other duties as assigned.

This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.
This position requires the incumbent to meet minimum age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages.

Qualifying Experience:
General clerical or cashier experience, including making change when receiving payment from customers and the ability to solve common arithmetic problems
Ability to handle multiple tasks and provide quality customer service
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.
Additional information
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
All Federal NAF employees are required by PL 104-134 to have salary payments made by electronic funds transfer/direct deposit.
Probationary period may be required.
Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from hiring preferences and priority consideration eligible.
Additional selections may be made from this vacancy announcement for up to 60/90 days after the closing date. Multiple positions may be filled from this announcement.
