Learn more about this agency Requirements Conditions of Employment See Duties and Qualifications EVALUATIONS: Qualifications Experience that demonstrates knowledge of vending and micro market methods, practices and procedures.  Skill to load and arrange cargo to prevent shifting, falling, and breakage in vehicle. Skill to read, write and accomplish accurate mathematical calculations.  Skill to operate vehicles with a gross vehicle weight up to 26,000 pounds.  May be required to operate a forklift.   Knowledge of the height, width, length, and weight capacity of vehicle to load and operate safely.  Ability to read and understand road maps and to determine shortest and safest route for both short and long routes.  Knowledge and judgment sufficient to select alternate routes to avoid potential traffic problems and delays.  Knowledge of state and local safety and traffic rules and regulations.  Driver's license is required.  Light to moderate effort is required in bending, stooping, lifting and stocking.  Lifts and carries objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs with assistance.  Works inside and outside and may be exposed to inclement weather conditions. Drives in all types of weather on public roads.  Exposed to dirt, dust and the possibility of cuts and bruises.  Must wear protective gear.
