Locums Radiology - Musculoskeletal Physician

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Musculoskeletal Radiologist for a locum tenens position in Maywood, Illinois. This role involves joining a growing Radiology Department comprised of over 50 subspecialized radiologists who provide clinical services across various specialties.The position requires the candidate to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing and interpreting musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging studies, including MRI and CT scans. Additionally, the role includes conducting and evaluating procedures such as joint injections and aspirations, bone marrow sampling, and soft tissue/bone biopsies. Collaboration with clinical teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and optimal patient care will be a key part of this role. Maintaining thorough and accurate patient records and engaging in departmental meetings for ongoing professional development will also be expected.Requirements:Board Certified in Radiology is required.Fellowship-trained in Musculoskeletal Radiology is required.Active Illinois medical license or proof of application in process is required.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.Proven experience with MRI, CT, joint injections/aspirations, bone marrow sampling, and soft tissue/bone biopsies is required.Maywood offers a suburban living experience with convenient access to the amenities and opportunities of nearby Chicago.
