Surgery - Pediatric Cardiovascular

Locums - Pediatrics: Cardiovascular Surgery. Does physician need Board Certification: Yes Does physician need Board Eligibility? YES  Monthly Coverage Requirement: Coverage for 1 week in June, and 1 week in September.  Support Staff:  3 Nurses, 2 techs in GI Unitand 1 GI Nurse Practioner for hospital inpatient support. Daily Shift Requirements:  This is 24/7 coverage call surgeon coverage of the program. Practice EMR: Meditech. ACLS / BLS should be required. ECMO Required. Dedicated CICU - Separate PICU but they are only covering the cardiac program Level IV NICU. There is typically an ADC in the CICU of 8-14.  Peds Congenital Heart Surgery it’s a certificate in addition to the Cv Surgeon board certification. The surgeon will be there to round with the team and as a back up to respond to emergencies they should not have to operate unless in an emergency typically to place a patient on ECMO. $1250 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days. $Competitive Hourly pay housing travel A rated malpractice insurance with tail coverage included.
